The volunteers continue to work at the Bibi Jann school for AIDS orphans. They install a clean water system, sand and paint classrooms and, working alongside local carpenters, build 30 student desks. Each day at lunchtime, they are welcomed to Fatuma’s home for a traditional lunch and gain a deeper appreciation for the bibis (grandmothers) who run the school.
